Plot Synopsis | by Hal Erickson |
On September 24, 1963, Red Skelton launched his 13th TV season in a new time slot, one half-hour earlier on Tuesday evenings (to make way for the new CBS sitcom Petticoat Junction). Guest star Shirley Temple appears with Red in the comedy sketch "Love is a Many-Splintered Thing." Once again crashing a high society affair, Freddie the Freeloader (Red) falls in love with a pretty debutante (Shirley). Musical interludes are provided by guest stars The Beach Boys and the Skeltones, returning to The Red Skelton Hour after a year's absence. |
