Mickey Rooney is Red Skelton's guest on this episode from February 18, 1969. In a comedy sketch, gangster Big Louie (Mickey) doesn't know what he's in for when he tangles with Cauliflower McPugg and Bolivar Shagnasty (both played by Red). Singer Hal Frazier performs "Didn't We" and, with the Tom Hansen Dancers, "Don't Rain on My Parade"; the Dancers also interpret "Look to the Rainbow." In the Olio Spot, Red offers a tribute to his idol Ed Wynn; and in the Silent Spot, he mimes a door-to-door salesman. | |
