Plot Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In a "Freddie the Freeloader" sketch, Jane Powell plays the hostess at a charity masquerade ball, who assumes that the shabby Freddie (Red Skelton) is an eccentric philanthropist. Jane also singers "The Lady is a Tramp", and with the Tom Hansen Dancers peforms "Carnival". In addition, the Dancers join forces with the Jimmy Joyce Singers for "My Love". In the Silent Spot, a Hollywood commuter (Red) waits for a bus. Also appearing on this telecast from January 27, 1970 are Jan Arvan, James Milhollin and Barbara Morrison.
